OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS and ARTISANS:

UNDER 100 HOLIDAY EXHIBITION SALE EVENT

Exhibition Dates: December 12-14, 2008
Deadline for Submissions: November 14, 2008
Application Fee: $15, non-refundable

4th Street Studio invites artists and artisans working in any fine art media to submit work for a juried holiday exhibition and sale. Our goal is to support and encourage the local arts community, provide the public with an opportunity to purchase fine art for under $100, and help local families fight hunger during times of need. 4th Street Studio will not take commission on the sale of artwork, however 10% of sales for each work will be donated to the Neighborhood Family Services Food Bank located on N. 4th Street. The Food Bank will be preparing Holiday Food Baskets that will be distributed to needy families in the neighborhood.

Work that will be considered must be original, produced by the artist, and includes any 2D or 3D media: drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, mixed media, ceramics, metals, jewelry, textiles, glass, sculpture, etc. Our selection will be influenced by works that are professionally presented, ready to display, and easy to purchase and take home. Selected artists do not have to be present to sell work.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Artists must be age 18 or older, and currently living and/or working in the Columbus, OH area.
• Artwork submitted must be available for the exhibition dates.
• All artwork must be available for sale, priced at $100 or under.

Checklist of application materials:
• 3-10 images of your work (high quality photos, slides, or 72 dpi jpeg files). Do not send original pieces in the mail.
• Self-addressed stamped envelope, for return of materials if desired.
• $15 check made payable to 4th Street Studio. We can also take credit card by phone.
• Completed application form. Deadline for submission: November 14, 2008
