I grew up in Louisville KY with a very creative mother who promoted creativity and crafting in my sister and myself. We were always getting craft kits as gifts that would keep us busy for days. I started mainly doing needlework. From there, I went into stamping and card-making. Then, I took a class on making earrings several years ago and was hooked. I began by making earrings for myself, but people showed an interest in buying from me. I decided to start selling because I love the idea of people all over the world wearing jewelry I created. Outside of crafting, I work in cancer research. I have a master's and am "all but disseration" in medical sociology. I live with my husband and our pug, Xander.
