We Made BIG Strides Today!!!

Our team walked in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk today. WOW it was a FABULOUS turn out.

Our team raised an outstanding $415!!! WOW!!! Thank you to everyone who donated!! You truly made a difference!!!
Next year we will beat that amount!!! We have some BIG plans for next years walk!!

The walk was 4 miles! And We Did It!!! We stuck it out for all 4 miles. Our legs are tired but our hearts are full and we are so proud!

Members: Monthly Team Meeting: November 13th, 7-9pm

For all new members who have not attended a team meeting yet. We get together in the meeting room in the Panera Bread at 4519 N High Street.

It is a good idea to try and attend these each month, so that you can keep in touch with the local happenings and team events as well as interact and bond with the other artists/crafters on the team.
If you cannot attend, please try to keep up with the google group's posts to stay connected.

Message to Members

With the new blog being developed, we want to start implementing some new uses for it. For one, I would like to have a "Friday Finds" article every week. If you have any ideas for an article, let me know the theme and the week you would like to have it featured. This is a very fun idea and can be lighthearted or more in depth. It's up to you! Take it and fly!!!

Meet Meghan (tsurubride)

I'm Meghan and I while I have a full-time job, I try to spend a lot my free time (haha) on my crafting. I've been sewing for the last 20 years, and while I went to school for design, and I work in fashion, I got out it for a little while. My step-daughter recently pushed me back into it, making clothes for her dolls, and now I can't stop sewing once again!

Meeting this upcoming Tuesday

Hey all!

So, I hinted on the google group about everyone planning on coming to
our next general meeting this upcoming Tuesday. This is because we
lost Amy as leader and I would like to see if anyone could step in
on a few of the tasks she was covering. Not full blown, but one or two
things distributed amongst people who are willing to help.

I would be especially grateful to all of you who have lived here for a
while and know the area pretty well, to help with local event
planning, since I am a newbie to the Columbus happenings.

So, if you could take some time to dig up some info and bring it to
the meeting it would be very helpful!

Also, since there are still some people who have joined, but haven't
participated/communicated in group chats or events yet, I am going to
stress that everyone should come to at least 1 group event/meeting per
month. Right now we have our general meeting, craft day, and probably
2 demo/seminar days each month set up, as well as group fairs and
shows. So, since that will be 4+ events per month, I would like to see
everyone show up to at least one of them just to keep us building up
as a team. Obviously the general meeting would be preferable for all
to attend, since that is where we will cover the most pertinent
information.

So, remember....Our next team meeting is this upcoming Tuesday, April
15th at Panera on 4519 N High Street from 7-9pm in the back meeting
room.
